Master Executive Council (MEC) Vice President

Scope:

The United Master Executive Council (MEC) Vice-President shall assist the MEC President in the performance of duties and carry out any assignments as directed by the MEC or the MEC President.

MEC Vice President

  • Responsible for maintaining the MEC Rules of Procedure and Policy, as directed by the MEC.
  • Responsible for administration of the MEC Committees.
  • Shall perform the duties of the MEC President in her/his absence.

Position to be elected:

  • MEC Vice-President for a 3-year term (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2020)

Qualification:

Strong communication skills, effective leadership and administrative abilities are recommended. Previous union office experience recommended. This position requires full-time weekday availability in Chicago.

The Election will be conducted at the Spring Regular MEC Meeting

April 11-13, 2017
