Hurricane Irma Preparedness

Date: September 5, 2017
Type: AFA Article

As those in the Houston area work to recover from the damaging force of Hurricane Harvey and the dangers from the flooding from the record rainfall amounts, Puerto Rico, Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands brace for the potentially life threatening impact of Hurricane Irma.

The following is a list of items to consider in making preparations for the arrival of Hurricane Irma:  http://www.afacwa.org/hurricane_irma_flight_attendants_stay_safe

As always, we encourage you to follow all directions from emergency services personnel, including any evacuation orders that may affect your community.  The chance of direct impacts from Irma later this week and this weekend is increasing in the Florida Keys and portions of the Florida Peninsula.
