This page displays your awarded Vacations for the year. To trade your days with another Flight Attendant, both Flight Attendants must agree on the days they are willing to trade with each other.   Also, both Flight Attendants must to put the same vacation trade into CCS in order for the trade to be awarded.

In this example, Flight Attendant A wants to trade ten (10) days of their twenty (20) days from May 11, 2018  - May 30, 2018 for ten (10) days of Flight Attendant B’s vacation from September 11, 2018 - September 30, 2018. The Flight Attendants have agreed that Flight Attendant A would trade the ten (10) days of their May Vacation from May 21, 2018 through May 30, 2018 for ten (10) days of Flight Attendant B’s September Vacation from September 11, 2018 through September 20, 2018.

Now, Flight Attendant A will click the drop down box to the left of the vacation they wish to trade.

Once you click on the expand button, the vacation portion will expand to show options. To perform the trade click the FA Trade button.

This page displays the FA to FA trade choices that Flight Attendant A must complete for the trade.

In this scenario, Flight Attendant A is “giving” ten (10) days starting May 21, 2018.

First Flight Attendant A will select the drop down box for “Beginning” and select the date the start of the Vacation will begin that they are trading out of.  In this case Flight Attendant A will select 5/21/2018.

Automatically, this will change the field No. of Days to Trade to the right of Beginning. In this case we are trading ten (10) days. You will also notice that the yellow highlighted field only covers the ten (10) days selected from 21 to 30.

Now Flight Attendant A must enter in Flight Attendant B’s Employee ID Number, the Start date of the Vacation Days they will be trading with Flight Attendant A, and the Number of Days Requested.  In this case it will be ten (10) days staring on September 11, 2018.

Once you verify all the information is correct you click the Request Trade button at the bottom left side of the screen.

You will get the response “As a reminder, both Flight Attendants must submit matching vacation trade requests”.  Click OK to submit the trade.

You will get a confirmation page. It is recommended that you print this screen for your records.

To confirm your trade has gone through Click the Return link at the bottom of the confirmation page to return to the myVacation screen.

On this page when you click the drop down arrow we now see the addition of the following text “FA to FA Trade must be removed to Create a Trade”.

As mentioned before, Flight Attendant B must perform the exact same trade in order for the trade to be awarded.

Flight Attendant B logs in and starts the exact same process.

Since Flight Attendant B is trading out of September for May they click the drop down box for the September 11, 2018 - September 30, 2018 vacation.

Once you click on the expand button, the vacation portion will expand to show options. To perform the trade click the FA Trade button.

This page displays the FA to FA trade choices that Flight Attendant B must complete for the trade process to be accepted.

Flight Attendant B will select the drop down box for “Beginning” and select the date the start of the Vacation will begin that they are trading out of.  In this case Flight Attendant B will select 9/11/2018.

Because Flight Attendant B is trading out of their vacation on the start date we will now need to change the Number of Days to Trade to ten (10).

You will also notice that the yellow highlighted field only covers the ten (10) days selected from 11 to 20.

Now Flight Attendant B must enter in Flight Attendant A’s Employee ID Number, the Start date of the Vacation Days they will be trading with Flight Attendant A, and the Number of Days Requested.  In this case it will be ten (10) days staring on September 11, 2018.
