This Wednesday, March 8, 2017, AFA International President, Sara Nelson is scheduled to testify at the Transportation & Infrastructure, Subcommittee on Aviation. It is expected, President Nelson will discuss Flight Attendant legislative priorities such as a minimum rest provision for Flight Attendants and the importance of implementing a Fatigue Risk Management Plan. This is the third in a series of hearings as the Subcommittee prepares to develop the FAA Reauthorization Bill. This bill has been currently extended through September 2017.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 in room 2167 at the Rayburn House Office Building, 45 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC 20515
