Luggage Replacement Procedures

On January 1, 2017, United launched the new uniform program under the provisions of the JCBA. Many of you have inquired about the procedure for replacement coats and luggage. Section 25.D.1-4 Replacements, outlines the details for replacement of accessory items due to normal wear and tear.

  1. The Company shall replace all basic uniform items (utilizing annual point allotment) and one of the following accessory items, when necessary due to normal wear at no cost to the Flight Attendant. The Flight Attendant may choose which of the following accessory items shall be the no cost item:

 Each base has a designated supervisor that will handle the accessory replacement issues. Check with the uniform designee at your base.
