AFA Honors the Life and Legacy of Linda F. Farrow

On January 31, 2019, AFA Members, Retirees and members of management from across the system gathered in Los Angeles, California to pay their respects and to honor the life and legacy of a remarkable AFA advocate and former MEC President, Linda Farrow. Linda passed away on October 1, 2018.

We are collectively indebted to Linda for her decades of dedicated work in the service of Flight Attendants, our chosen profession and our Union.  Flight Attendants around the world, even those who have never met Linda, have benefited from her legacy and all of us are better for having known her.

Flight Attendants who were unable to attend Linda’s Memorial Service can view below a video montage of pictures of Linda spanning her forty-seven year career with United Airlines as one of our first African American Flight Attendants and the memorial service program.
