Inside this issue:     Tentative Agreement Update
Special Leaves of Absences Available

Ladies and Gentleman:

We know that many of you are anxious to review the Tentative Agreement that we recently reached with United Airlines. We would like to provide you an update as to where we are in the process and what you can expect going forward.

This past week LECP’s from around the world met in Chicago to review the Tentative Agreement line by line. This was a 2 day process as there was much information for us to review. We provided feedback on the language and made suggestions to the JNC for editing. On this past Wednesday each local council sent out Information Reps to review a summary of the tentative so they are able to answer your questions out on the line or dispel any rumors and/or speculations that are being talked about on social media.

We are aware that many Flight Attendants want to know why the TA hasn’t been made available for you to review and we would like to take a moment to explain. Since there was editing recommendations there is work still being done before it becomes available. Please keep in mind this is a completely new contract with completely new language in many sections of the agreement. As you can see there is a lot to be done before its ready to be presented. We can expect that the TA will become available for you to review shortly. In the meantime please avoid rumors on social media and on the jumpseat and get your facts from your elected leaders and committee members or visit Ourcontract.org. Once you receive the Tentative Agreement please review it in its entirety and not just sections and if you have any questions or need further clarification please contact us so you can get the facts.

There is a questions and answers page that has been published on Ourcontract.org. Here you can find the latest information and news regarding our new Tentative Agreement. Also, you will be able to find the JNC Roadshow schedule for meetings that will be taking place around the world. If you can’t make the Houston Roadshow you can always attend another Roadshows elsewhere if you happen to be on a layover when it takes place. We will send out more information shortly on the Roadshow schedules as well as Local Council Meeting dates- so please stay tuned.
