Inside this issue:  Tentative Agreement and New Hires

Dear Members,

It has been an exciting and busy week. Our table in the Domicile is being staffed daily, and we are listening to both your positive feedback and your concerns. We are here to support you and help answer any questions you may have.

The Tentative Agreement Vote opens at the end of this week and remains open until August 12, 2016. The full text of the Agreement will be online on Monday, July 11.

On Wednesday, July 13 at 0800, we will be broadcasting the live Webinar from Conference room 1 in the airport. This conference room is next to the Employee Cafeteria and the Southwest Ticket Counter. If you are in the airport, please stop by to attend.

The SFO Roadshow will be on July 25 from 9 am-1 pm. As a reminder, the venue has been changed in order to honor a labor dispute. The new venue is:

San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront
1800 Old Bayshore Highway
Burlingame, CA 94010

Summer is in full force! Irregular ops has been an almost daily occurrence this week. Carry your contract, and reach out for any assistance you need. The office is open daily, and officers are on call each night to assist you in time-sensitive and emergency situations.

On Monday, Kathy and I will be traveling to Houston to welcome our newest group of new hire Flight Attendants into the SFOSW family. We anticipate we will be receiving at least 5 classes reporting to SFO beginning on July 19. This increase in new hire Flight Attendants should drastically change the seniority of those on Reserve, and tomorrow we hope that the estimated Senior Designated Reserve date on the cover letter will reflect that.

As always, please take care of each other and fly safe! We look forward to seeing you soon!
