Tentative Agreement Information Sessions
This Tentative Agreement (TA) is the combination of 3 separate and distinct Contracts (CAL/CMI/UAL). Please keep in mind that some of the provisions in the TA are compromises between us and our counterparts at CAL and CMI. These compromises were necessary in order to negotiate with UA from one unified position. While some may not like ‘all’ of the provisions, the TA managed to maintain important protections such as Scope, Base closure protections, Foreign National Sideletter, and the Exchange rate Sideletter among others. Take the time to read through all the information including the full text of the TA, which will be available shortly before casting your vote.
There will be many opportunities for you to ask questions, and get clarifications prior to the TA vote opening on July 15th, at 12pm ET (July 16th, 1:00am Japan Standard Time) and closing on Friday, August 12th, at 12pm ET (Saturday, August 13th, at 1:00am Japan Standard Time).
