Aloha Friends,
A Fundraiser for beloved Pineapple, Kendra Kenolio Kauffeld, is set for August 3rd at the DAV Hall at Keehi Lagoon. Tickets for the Spaghetti Dinner are $25. Please allow yourself time to participate in the silent auction, raffle and rummage sale (cash or checks only, please.) Just as fun, you'll have the opportunity to reconnect with our Pineapples, Retirees, and all of those who are giving their hearts in supporting Kendra.
There are other ways to contribute to this worthy cause. We are in need of dessert and pupu donations. Also, fresh cut Hawaiian flowers (ginger, haleconia and especially pink and yellow plumeria) plus greenery (ti leaf, monstera and ferns) for decoration. These donations can be dropped off a the DAV Hall at 10am on the 3rd.
Manpower is needed to set up the DAV Hall before the event and clean up afterwards. A minimum of 12 volunteers are needed from 10am -1pm to set up tables, chairs, the outdoor tent, arrange decorations and set up the food prep area.
Directions to the DAV Hall of Keehi Lagoon Beach Park from the Airport:
* Take Aolele St. to Lagoon Dr.
* Then left onto Lagoon Dr. to Nimitz Hwy.
* Take a right on Nimitz Hwy (HI 92 East)
* Stay to the right, look for driveway to parking area of DAV Hall
