 Dear Flying Partners:
Words can never describe the emotions I feel right now. I am so proud of all of you! You were an integral part of getting us to this day! We have a Ratified Contract! Now we can begin the next chapter in our careers! Now we can enjoy the fruits of this merger! We are finally UNITED!
Our Sister and International President Sara Nelson recently said..."There is a lot of LOVE here!...We make a difference when there is a little adversity; that is love too! And if we are not willing to stand up for the people that we love, then what is love? Love is something that we do every single day! And we expect action from that love!” Flight Attendants took action on the picket lines, social media, and many other ways over the last few years to achieve an Industry Leading Agreement that moves us forward and puts us on the path to be the best airline in the business. That is LOVE! Love for each other, love for our company, and love for our profession!
That old song, We Shall Overcome lives on! Let's celebrate today but wake up tomorrow reenergized to carry out our mission to continue building the Flight Attendant profession to greatness!

Fellow Flight Attendants,
We have a ratified contract. With some of the highest numbers in AFA history, over 90 percent participated in the vote with 53% voting to ratify the agreement. You have participated in a historic vote and there is no doubt that every single one of you is deeply engaged and cares about our future.
There will be much to communicate regarding implementation of our agreement. Look for those communications in the coming days and weeks.
This vote means we are moving forward together to achieve the benefits of a fully integrated airline. Today, make it a point to reach out to someone you don’t know, but who shares our wings and our future. Our strength comes from how we take care of each other.
We are one airline. We are one union. We are one.
