Local Council Elections
We want to remind everyone that voting for the Local Council Elections opens tomorrow December 1st at 12pm EST and will remain open till December 21st at 12pm EST. As you know these elections will determine your representatives for the Combined Council 42, and terms will begin January 1st, 2017. Ballots were mailed today, if you have had a change of address or don't receive it in a timely manner you can call AFA International Membership Department at 800-424-2401 ext. 707.
Aflac Supplemental Insurance Open Enrollment
Your United AFA Benefits Committee is happy to announce Open Enrollment for Aflac/CAIC voluntary insurance plans. Enrollment will be from December 5th, 2016 - January 15th, 2017. A Benefits Educator will be available in the Crew Room from December 5th - December 16th, Monday - Friday from 7am - 5pm. If you are not able to come visit the Crew Room you will still have some options.
- You will have the option to call the Benefits Services Call Center to help educate and enroll you in your Aflac/CAIC voluntary insurance plan.
- Visit the Online self enrollment website.
Flight Attendants enrolling during the Open Enrollment Period will have a February 1, 2017 effective date for their policies.
