• ALERT: Positive Space Travel Program Due to Winter Storm for ORD, DCA/IAD and EWR Bases

Ladies and Gentlemen of Council 21,

ALERT: Positive Space Travel Program Due to Winter Storm for ORD, DCA/IAD and EWR Bases:

United management has implemented a NRPS (positive space) travel program for the Flight Attendants based in ORD, DCA/IAD, and EWR as a result of the forecasted inclement weather.

Flight Attendants based at ORD, DCA/IAD, and EWR may self-list for positive space business travel to their base if they have a scheduled trip to fly on:

ORD - Friday, December 16 through Sunday, December 18, 2016
DCA/IAD - Saturday, December 17 through Sunday, December 18, 2016
EWR - Saturday, December 17 through Sunday, December 18, 2016

Instructions for listing for Positive space travel may be found on Flying Together >> Travel [Top Menu] >> Positive Space Business Travel, and are similar to those used when booking travel to training. Once you list for the flight on which you wish to travel, your PNR needs to be authorized in order to complete the ticketing process as well as for check-in and seat selection.

To have your PNR authorized, please contact your domicile duty desk and provide your confirmation number.

Please note: This positive space authorization does not place you on must-ride status and flights will not be oversold to accommodate travel.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your base supervisor.
