It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Kaisha Chu, beloved daughter of HNL Pineapple, Cindy Chu, on December 14, 2016. Athlete and star soccer player for Moanalua High School and Hawaii Pacific University, Kaisha was a first-year graduate student at Seattle University home on Christmas holiday.
Aside from her incredible athletic abilities, Kaisha is remembered for her kind heart and outgoing nature. Like her mother, Kaisha could light a room with her magnetic smile and gifted personality.
Beautiful Kaisha lived her short life to the fullest. Her personal motto was written by Anne Bronte: "But he who dares not grasp the thorn should never crave the rose."
Memorial Services will be held at the Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary on Dec. 27 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Visitation will begin at 5 pm.
