AFA Flight Attendants to Rally in Pittsburgh Today

Demonstration to Support Nationwide Strike Resolution

PITTSBURGH  - The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA will hold a rally at 5:45 p.m. today in front of the Pittsburgh Hilton to demonstrate support for passage by the union’s Board of Directors of a resolution calling for a nationwide strike should any one of its contracted carriers abrogate its collective bargaining agreement. The resolution was passed unanimously yesterday by Board members meeting in Pittsburgh. The rally will feature AFA International President Patricia Friend and members of the union.
