Happy Holidays!

Date: December 25, 2014

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The holiday season is a time during the year marked with special activities and events which are unique to each of us and our families.   We share special memories and family traditions that bring us closer together, always increasing our appreciation for family and loved ones.  As we celebrate this holiday season we encourage you to take a moment to celebrate our Flight Attendant community and recognize the talents and abilities of each of the individuals who contribute to our uniqueness.

We have collectively risen above the challenges we have faced together this year and continue to serve the passengers in our care with dedication, compassion and a commitment to service that is second to none.  Through our unique talents and abilities not only do we we continue to care for our passengers, we succeed at creating an environment of comfort as we bring them safely to their final destinations.  More importantly, we continue to care for each other.

As with any family or community, our memories are intertwined with the shared experiences of our flying partners.  This year, our shared experience is bittersweet as we bid farewell to those who have elected to participate in the Enhanced Early Out Program.  Each of these individuals has been an integral part of building AFA, our Flight Attendant career and our great airline.  To our Early Out participants, as we do at the end of any trip, we wish you well and trust this holiday brings you and your family a great sense of joy and anticipation as you embark on a new chapter in your life.

No matter where you are this holiday, whether spending time with family and friends celebrating all this season of hope and joy has to offer or working to bring our passengers to the location where they will spend their holiday, know you are appreciated for all you do. We look forward to the new and exciting opportunities the New Year will offer us as we continue to build our collective future.

On behalf of the United Master Executive Council we wish each of you a safe and cheerful holiday season.

Happy Holidays!

In Solidarity,
The United Master Executive Officers
