(CAL) Thanksgiving Greeting – November 26, 2015
November 26, 2015
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the past and give thanks for all the wonderful things we have had the opportunity to experience throughout the year. Being thankful can often be difficult, as we deal with the normal hardships of life: financial issues, illnesses, or maybe even the loss of a loved one. However, Thanksgiving is a time to try and set any difficulties you may have aside, and seek to find the good, to uphold and cherish. It’s also a time to reach out in graciousness to those that are less fortunate than yourself. If you know someone who’s struggling this holiday season, do what you can to give them something to be thankful for. It can be something as simple as an embrace, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement. Lend a helping hand and try and make their season a little brighter.
This Thanksgiving, let’s reflect on the brotherly outreach that we as Flight Attendants know so well. And as you come together with your families, let’s be thankful for each other and grateful for all the crews that are spending this special holiday season in the skies, taking care of our passengers and each other. Let’s show gratitude for who we are, and what we represent together. We graciously take care of one another, reach out to those of us in need, and are bonded by the strength in our wings.
May we never forget the blessings that come our way each day, and may our attitudes reflect our gratitude as we give thanks.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving,
In Solidarity and Unity,
Association of Flight Attendants – CWA
