(UAL) Pre-Merger UAL Flight Attendants Receive Access to Current CCS

Date: December 20, 2016

In preparation of the final Crew Communication System (CCS,) United has provided access to the current CCS platform to pre-merger United Flight Attendants. CCS is currently the central access point for all pre-merger CAL and CMI Flight Attendants. Once fully built, the new CCS platform will serve as a gateway for Flight Attendant’s to access scheduling, pairing and crew information, and applications for all United Airlines Flight Attendants to help do their daily duties.

CCS functionality for pre-merger United Flight Attendants will be introduced in a phased approach. Hotel gainsharing requests will be the first functionality on CCS for pre-merger United Flight Attendants.

Hotel Gainsharing (Section 5.C.) is when a Flight Attendants cancels their hotel room no more than seventy-two (72:00) and no less than twenty-four hours (24:00 Domestic) or forty-eight (48:00 International) prior to the original check-in time for the trip. If a Flight Attendants cancels their hotel room in accordance with the provisions of our Contract will receive no less than twenty dollars ($20.00) for each cancelled hotel room.

Please take this time to log in to United’s CCS platform via https://ccs.ual.com or the quick link found on our homepage. United has also provided a CCS user guide that can be found on our website.
