Flight Attendants Protest to Keep Focus on Contract

Date: March 15, 2016

Washington, D.C. (March 15, 2016) — United Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO (AFA), will protest at seven airports on Thursday, March 17, as they press for conclusion of contract negotiations. The protest will also call on hostile hedge funds to stop distracting from the business of running the airline.

Share price doesn't save lives. Flight Attendants do. It is well past time we participate in record profits and the benefits of a fully integrated airline. A contract for Flight Attendants is critical for completion of the merger and long-term success of the airline.

In his first public appearances upon return to work, Oscar Munoz said completing Flight Attendant contract negotiations is his top priority. Flight Attendants will continue to keep the focus on: Contract Now.
