Department of Homeland Security Announces Plan for Heightened Security Screening

On June 29th, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that enhanced security measures will be implemented for all commercial flights to the United States. All airlines conducting direct flights to the United States from International airports will be subject to heightened screening of passengers and large electronic devices.
AFA is working with United on this recent announcement as well as the impact it could have on flight crews. Please continue to abide by the current security policies in place until notified of any new measures.
