The 2018 midterm elections are scheduled for the first Tuesday in November.  This year, its November 6, 2018.  All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. Use the following website to ensure you are registered to vote. If you’re not registered, it’s easy! Just follow the prompts. www.iwillvote.com. Should you have any questions, please contact your local AFA Office or the MEC Government Affairs Committee at legislative@unitedafa.org.

Over the past several years, there has been an increase in states which are purging voter records. If you have moved, changed your name, or not voted in the past couple elections, you may need to re-register to vote. Not sure if you are registered? You can check your status through your state board of elections or at vote.org or Iwillvote.com.

Over the past several months, there has been much controversy over the workings of our federal government. While it isn't our goal to tell anyone how to vote, we do have information about which candidates for these offices support Flight Attendant issues. What matters most is that we all participate. You cannot participate if you are not registered to vote. We strongly encourage you to Vote. Never minimize your contribution to the process. Your vote matters. Vote - you can make a difference.
