Additional Information on Reporting Human Trafficking

Date: May 23, 2018

MEC Safety, Health and Security

On Friday, May 18, 2018, an article was published in AFA E-Lines titled; Human Trafficking: Make a Difference - Recognize it! Report it!  In addition to the information provided with this publication, it goes without saying that Flight Attendants are encouraged to follow the SOP guidance provided in our eFAOM (5.34). When human trafficking is suspected, report the details to the Captain. Always ensure the term “suspected human trafficking” is used when reporting to the Captain as this will declare the proper incident level.

Additional information on this very important issue may be found at afa-cwa.org, Hidden in Plane Site. Direct questions to your Local Council Representatives.
