Transfer Awards – Action Required
January 4, 2019
On January 2, 2019, base transfers were awarded to DEN, EWR, GUM, HNL, IAD, LAS and SFO with an effective date of March 2, 2019, the first day of the March 2019 schedule month. Flight Attendants are reminded that under the provisions of harmonized process, once you are awarded a transfer, you must accept or decline such transfer within seven (7) days of the award date.
Note: A Non-response will result in your transfer award being considered a declination.
When a Flight Attendant declines an awarded transfer, she/he will be inhibited from any further transfers for a three (3) month period. Whereas, if a Flight Attendant accepts an awarded transfer they will be restricted for a period of six (6) months to submit another transfer.
Read the full details about the harmonized transfer awards here.
As a result of more recent transfer activity, Flight Attendants who are “active” International Pursers and those Flight Attendants who are on the International Purser waitlist are encouraged to review the following information to ensure you are aware how the transfer may impact your qualification.
Questions should be directed to your Local Council Representatives.
