Section 7.I.16. provides Flight Attendants with the ability to combine two duty periods from two separate pairings, sometimes referred to as “piggy-backing.” As part of our Contract implementation, work is underway to develop the automation that allows Flight Attendants to voluntarily combine duty periods. This programming is currently planned to be available toward the end of the first quarter of 2020. In the meantime, ongoing testing and development continues to ensure this functionality works exactly as intended. Please stay tuned for more information on Combined Duty programming as it becomes available.
