Crew Pay Adjusts to COVID-19

Date: March 16, 2020

As the impact of the COVID-19 virus proliferates, other areas of our company are beginning to feel the impact of local regulations requiring employees to stay home from work. In some cases, these decisions are beginning to affect other departments that support Flight Attendants.

In particular, the Houston Support Center (HSC) Flight Attendant Crew Pay Support analysts will be working from home for the period from March 16 - March 27.  Voicemail messages have been update appropriately to advise callers of these changes.    What is important for all of us to understand is that our fellow employees continue to work diligently to ensure Flight Attendant pay is not adversely impacted during this difficult time.

Additionally, the Flight Attendant Crew Pay agents located in the Philippines are receiving and answering telephone calls.  However, due to a Metro Manilla government enforced 'self-quarantine' which is driving higher absentee rates, call wait times are much longer than usual.

Flight Attendants are encouraged to submit requests via Help Hub by logging into Flying Together and accessing Employee Services. Once you submit a request, it will be reviewed and responded to within  2-3 business days.

You may still place calls to speak to an agent but keep in mind it is taking a bit longer to answer calls than it has in the past.
