Federal Mask Mandate Extended by TSA until January 18, 2022

As the COVID-19 case counts increase due to the rapid spread of the much more contagious Delta variant, the TSA has announced the Federal mask mandate on passenger aircraft and at airports will be extended through January 18, 2022.

In addition, effective Friday, Aug. 20, Chicago will join Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Los Angeles in the requirement for masks to be worn indoors by all individuals aged 2 and older, regardless of vaccine status.
