Daylight Savings Time Pairing Display Defect Identified

Date: March 12, 2022

United’s Information Technology group has identified a defect that is affecting pairing display information for trips operating this weekend over the time change period.  Specifically, for trip pairings arriving or departing between 0200 and 0400 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) the displays in CCS include one additional hour of flight time and an equal reduction in “sit” time for the segment involved.   Be assured, the pairing is legally scheduled, and all legalities apply and will be monitored by Crew Scheduling in the event of any irregularity.

Please review the Inflight Scheduling Alert for additional details.
