Trimester CBT Compensation
Date:
May 2, 2023
We remind you that as part of each requalification training cycle, it is mandatory for all Flight Attendants to complete the quarterly Computer Based Training (CBT). While this is an additional responsibility, it should be emphasized that completion of these quarterly CBTs is part of the process by which we retain our qualifications and FAA certification.
Under our Contract, Flight Attendants will be compensated for completing the CBT requirement based on the contractual provisions outlined in Section 11.B.2 of our Contract. Home study and CBT assignments will each be paid one-hour (1:00) flight time pay and credit for every three hours (3:00) of home study or training, prorated based on reasonable times established by the Company to complete the training. Please note that in no case shall Flight Attendants receive less than one hour (1:00) of training pay. CBT Training shall be paid for in the month during which the course is completed.
Once the CBT is completed, credited compensation will be posted as Add Pay prior to the close of pay for the month in which the CBT is completed. Typically, the posting is programmatically applied to pay registers during the first couple of days in the new month. It is important that we are clear as to when this pay is posted to our Pay Register to identify if there is a true discrepancy. Discrepancies or missing compensation can then be reported by filing a pay claim via Help Hub.
