Save The Date: System-Wide Day of Action – October 26!
On Thursday, October 26th, we will hold another Systemwide Day of Action to further demonstrate our resolve in securing a Contract that achieves our collective priorities and is reflective of our contributions to the success of our airline.
Our August 31st Day of Action drew record turnout across the system, making it clear that United Flight Attendants have had enough! On October 26th, we will demonstrate to management that we are tired of their delays in concluding these negotiations. Mark your calendars, tell your friends, and plan to join us on the informational picket line!
Stay tuned for more specific details, including instructions on how to register your RSVP. In the meantime, please plan your schedule accordingly and prepare to participate on October 26, 2023! CONTRACT NOW!
AFA Negotiations Survey III
The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Survey Center opened the Flight Attendant Negotiations Survey III on Tuesday, September 12th. This survey serves as an update to the comprehensive Survey I and Survey II and will guide the Negotiating Committee on Flight Attendant priorities.
To take the online survey, you will need a 6-character access code. The access code is printed on the cover letter that is included in the survey envelope. A printed copy of the survey, along with your access code, was mailed to your address of record. Submit your survey today and remind your friends to do the same.
National Recovery Month
In September, we observe National Recovery Month, a time dedicated to reflecting on the importance of assisting individuals and families in their efforts to recover from substance use disorders and mental health challenges. The theme of National Recovery Month, "Every Person, Every Family, Every Community," emphasizes that recovery is achievable for everyone. Through the process of treatment and recovery, individuals, families, and communities can embark on a path towards healing and prosperity.
If you or someone you know needs help, please contact our AFA EAP Help Line at 1-800-424-2406.
For more detailed information about National Recovery Month, you can explore the CDC feature that promotes and supports a better understanding of treatment and recovery options.
