May is a special month for us as we honor and appreciate the contributions, vibrant culture, and inspiring history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. This year, the theme for AAPI Heritage Month 2024 is “Advancing Leaders Through Innovation.”
AFA has officially recognized May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This significant milestone was achieved thanks to the dedicated efforts of our AFA members, who also proposed the idea of a commemorative pin for all members to proudly wear throughout the month.
Local Councils will play a crucial role in this celebration. They will receive the AAPI pins and distribute them among our members, fostering a sense of unity and shared pride.
As we celebrate diversity, heritage, and pride, we invite you to join us in wearing the AAPI pin and sharing a brief description of what AAPI Heritage Month means to you.
