Every three years, AFA Council elections are held for Local AFA leadership. The positions open for election include President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Council Representatives. Members in good standing will step forward to run for election by their peers, hoping to represent their membership in their Local Councils.
This year, Category III of our schedule will commence with the following Councils:
Nominations are open to members in good standing from April 1 to April 16, 2025.
Council 8 - ORD
Council 9 - DEN
Council 11 - SFO
Council 42 - IAH
Council 63 - CLE
Council 65 - GUM
The term of office will be: 07/01/2025 - 06/30/2028.This year, a new online nomination system will be implemented, and all information about the process, including how to submit your willingness to serve, will be available on the AFA-CWA Elections website. This website also contains voting information, the election handbook, and more!
