The Harvard Flight Attendant Health Study published new research yesterday that found U.S. Flight Attendants have a higher prevalence of several forms of cancer.
This has been an ongoing study for years that AFA has helped define and promote. It is not conclusive, but further explains the risks and provides research as a foundation for additional work. We will utilize this study to promote standards that mitigate risks through collective bargaining, legislation, and regulation.
