Beginning October 9, 2019, management is activating a trip trade pop-up alert function on CCS to remind Flight Attendants any form of trip trade activity during working flights, unless on a contractual crew rest break, is prohibited under company policy.

The pop-up alert is programmed to appear each time there is an attempt to access any trip-trade related links in CCS (EBB, Direct Trade, My Ads, My Offers) during all working flights between the start of customer boarding through block-in (door open).

The pop-up alert will appear on all devices including Link, personal cell phones, laptops, iPads, etc., and will state: “The system detected that you are currently on duty. Trip trading while working a flight, other than during crew rest breaks, is strictly prohibited and may lead to discipline.

If encountering this pop-up alert while working a flight and not on crew rest, click the “Return to Home Page” button to remain in compliance with company policy. If on crew rest break, click the “Acknowledge” button to continue, as it is compliant to be able to trip trade during crew rest breaks in flight.

More details are encouraged to be read in the October 2, 2019 Inflight Services Weekly.
