Congratulations to Unite Here caterers on the results of their representation election today!  

The NMB results were a landslide victory of 1253 for the union to 486 against. Unite here is now the newest union at United Airlines. This is especially an important win because the election was held up by the Republican NMB members responding to an unprecedented successful claim by the company to declare interference in the workers' rights - by the union! Even though the election was delayed 10 months, the union maintained its strong support. Huge thanks to AFA leaders/activists in Houston, Newark, Denver, Honolulu, and Cleveland for supporting their organizing efforts.
