We want to call everyone’s attention to the impending vaccination deadline in order to receive the three vacation-day incentive for use in 2022. The Vaccination Letter of Agreement specifies:
A Flight Attendant, including those on leave of absence returning before July 1, 2021, who has received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by June 9, 2021 and receives the second dose, of a two-dose regime, according to the manufacturer requirements of the vaccine being administered, shall receive three (3) vacation days, at three hours and fifteen minutes per day (3:15) for a total of nine hours and forty-five minutes (9:45), in addition to their 2022 vacation accrual.
This provision ensures that if you start the vaccination process by June 9, 2021, even if it is not completed until later due to the manufacturer’s recommendation for the second dose of a two-dose regime, you are still able to qualify for the vacation incentive.
