DEC 28 - Because January 1, 2022, the New Year’s Day holiday, falls on a Saturday, the funds from our first paycheck of the new year will be made available on the first business day following the holiday or Monday, January 3, 2022.
For your financial planning purposes, as provided in Section 3.BB. of our Contract, the direct deposit of funds for our January 1, 2022, paycheck will be available on the first business day after the holiday.
Because January 1, 2022, the New Year’s Day holiday, falls on a Saturday, the funds from our first paycheck of the new year will be made available on the first business day following the holiday or Monday, January 3, 2022.
This is the one exception where the company is not required to have these funds available to us prior to the actual pay date. Doing so would place the January 1 paycheck as income into the previous calendar year for all tax purposes.
