Without notice to the Union, this week the company released a publication addressing Enhanced Staffing within the context of the Established Staffing Guidelines (ESGs). We do not agree with these changes to “enhance staffing.” Without detailing the bargaining history or presenting the Union’s case publicly, or addressing what you voted to approve through ratification of our Contract, United MEC President, Ken Diaz, sent a letter to all of us outlining his expectation of management and detailed the actions that will be taken should the company elect to implement that which we have clearly communicated is in dispute. Review the MEC President’s letter posted on unitedafa.org.
