AFA-CWA continues to advocate that to help minimize the spread on COVID-19 that leisure travel should be discontinued as well as service onboard all aircraft to minimize customer contact. Aviation is key in fighting this pandemic, from carrying necessary medical supplies and personnel to areas in need to carry passengers from around the world seeking medical care our jobs save lives.

As domestic and international flights continue to be reduced. There is an opportunity for the first responders of the skies to help our first responders on the ground combat this pandemic. There is a critical need for extra hands in hospitals and medical centers. Flight Attendants who are willing to help may be in a unique position to do so.
