FMLA Call Procedures Reminder

Share links

Recent membership questions have prompted a clarification for providing your FMLA case number when prompted by the FAST team.

The process is outlined in your approval letter, but as a reminder, the procedure for placing yourself on FMLA is as follows:

  • The Flight Attendant will call the FAST Team and advise them that they need to use their approved FMLA
  • The Flight Attendant will be asked to provide their FMLA case number. Your FMLA case number can be found;
    • In your FMLA approval letter
    • In your work history under your FML approval
    • By calling 877-825-3729, the Employee Service Center

  • If you cannot provide or locate your FMLA case number, you have 15 days to submit a request to change your absence to FMLA through the Help Hub Absence Team.
