The United Master Executive Council joins the 50,000 Flight Attendants at twenty airlines that make up the Association of Flight Attendants to mourn the loss of Maxim Moiseyev, an Aeroflot Flight Attendant who perished on the burning Aeroflot 1492 aircraft while working diligently to save lives during the evacuation.

The United Master Executive Council joins the 50,000 Flight Attendants at twenty airlines that make up the Association of Flight Attendants to mourn the loss of Maxim Moiseyev, an Aeroflot Flight Attendant who perished on the burning Aeroflot 1492 aircraft while working diligently to save lives during the evacuation. In addition, we extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the forty-one (41) lives lost in this tragic event.
As a direct result of the training, dedication and fearless actions of the four (4) Flight Attendants on board flight 1492, thirty-three passengers’ lives were saved during the emergency evacuation.
United AFA commends the heroic actions of the Aeroflot Flight Attendants and we applaud their courageous bravery. Tragedies such as these can leave us experiencing a wide range of emotions.
