JAN 25 - Contribution limits for the 401(k) have increased for 2022.

In 2022, the contribution limits for the 401(k) plan have increased for 2022. For those looking to max out their 401(k)s in 2022, as employees, you can contribute $20,500—an increase of $1,000. For workers over the age of 50, the catch-up 401(k) contribution is still $6,500 per year thanks to the cost-of-living adjustments from the IRS.

Flight Attendants can review their year-to-date contributions to your United 401(k) plan and change the deferral election at any time through Fidelity NetBenefits® by visiting Flying Together > Employee Services > Retirement Plans, or by going to www.401k.com.
