On Wednesday, July 25th, AFGE will go to court to stand up for federal employees’ union rights and representation. We will be standingwith them in Washington, D.C., to stop the executive orders that threaten to bust the union. The attack on federal workers and their unions is an attempt to make the programs we count on like Social Security, Medicare, and Veterans healthcare not work so these agencies can be privatized. The attack on any workplace right is an attack on all of us. Federal government employees are standing against three executive orders issued by the Administration that seek to cripple the AFGE's ability to represent union members and roll-back workplace protections. AFGE recently filed a lawsuit against these executive orders and they are asking all of us to join in solidarity at a rally on July 25th right before their oral argument in court.
If you can join us in D.C., meet at the Communications Workers of America building, 501 Third Street, NW at 11:45 am to depart at Noon with other with AFA-CWA members. RSVP to let us know you’re joining us:info@afacwa.org
