Maven is a virtual clinic that offers support to women and families throughout pregnancy and postpartum as well as support for adoption, fertility, parenting, pediatrics, and menopause.
This program is available exclusively to participants in the EPO and PPO insurance plans at United Airlines. Maven (Maternity) launched in the last quarter of 2024, with communications made available to employees during United’s annual benefits enrollment process. Services include:
- Free Virtual Support with 24/7 access
- Care Advocates
- Personalized Content
- Virtual Classes
- Return to work resources following pregnancy.
Support is offered in several ways:
- Assistance in creating a birth plan for your family
- Breastfeeding and Bottle-feeding support
- Navigating the sleep cycle of a newborn
- Planning for the return to work
- Managing Your Mental Health through all of these changes.
Starting February 1, 2025, a beta test for the services of an in-person doula are available at Chicago, Houston, and Newark for EPO and PPO participants.
Free access to Maven is available 24/7 for pregnancy as well as post-partum care and guidance, all via their app. In addition, you can access www.mavenclinic.com/join/unitedairlines, or you can download the Maven Clinic app, which offers virtual care for every family.
