MEC Officer Message: Happy Thanksgiving

Members of AFA,

As Flight Attendants, we are aviation’s first responders. Our profession often calls upon us to herald in the holidays. Together, we safely carry passengers to their destinations while giving of ourselves by spending time away from home and loved ones.

This holiday season, millions of workers like us around the world will be responsible for making it possible to give thanks. Our contribution to the support and infrastructure of our nation has never been more apparent.

Now more than ever, we are grateful for our collective strength as we navigate a new season, a season of solidarity. Across the Industry, we are witnessing success as fellow Flight Attendants like us fight for quality of life and compensation that reflect our skill and value. Daily, we recommit ourselves to the success of our chosen profession. Together, we will stand with our Union siblings across the industry and the labor movement to receive what we have all rightfully earned – an Industry-Leading Contract.

This year on Thanksgiving, we are grateful for the workers who sacrificed before us and for the profound privilege to continue the fight alongside the strongest workforce in the world.
