In an effort to assist Flight Attendants during the COVID-19 world crisis, National Group Protection (NGP)–CAIC ,one of our supplemental insurance brokers, is providing the following assistance options to Flight Attendants who have opted to participate in a Company Leave of Absence (COLA), including financial relief from any missed monthly premium obligations. Flight Attendants currently on COLA or who will be taking a May COLA, should be on the lookout for a letter from NGP that will contain the following details:
- Your coverage will continue without interruption during the LOA
- Premiums are not due during the LOA
- CAIC will honor claims during the LOA
- No action is required on your part to maintain your coverage.
