Following completion of the annual Purser/ISM recurrent training, ISMs and Pursers were given an opportunity to participate in a survey expressing a preference for the title to be used when referring to the qualified international on-board leader once we move to a common scheduling platform on Oct 1, 2018.
Following completion of the annual Purser/ISM recurrent training, ISMs and Pursers were given an opportunity to participate in a survey expressing a preference for the title to be used when referring to the qualified international on-board leader once we move to a common scheduling platform on Oct 1, 2018.
On Friday, June 29 the results of that survey were announced where overwhelmingly Pursers/ISMs advised management of their preference to use the International Purser title. Beginning October 1, 2018 our on-board leaders will be referred to as International Pursers.
The International Purser and Domestic Purser will continue to be defined as stated in Section 4.H of our JCBA.
