The Spring Regular Meeting of United Master Executive Council concluded on Thursday April 22nd following an Executive Session of the leadership. During the meetings our Local Presidents met in a virtual environment via Zoom™ and addressed the business of our Union from around the system.
As a part of the Day 2 session, elections were held to fill open positions on MEC Committees. Members were successfully elected to Central Schedule Committee, Hotel and Transportation Committee, the MEC Grievance Committee and as Members and alternates to the System Board of Adjustment. We would like to thank all the Members who submitted their willingness to serve, and congratulate those members successfully elected.
The meeting concluded with a review of the current budget, approval of minutes from meetings and conference calls as well as acceptance of a Late Agenda Item. Meeting summaries from each day will be made available on Unitedafa.org.
Our next Regular Meeting of the United MEC will take place this summer, in July. More information about the meeting will be released closer to the date to ensure compliance with each state’s COVID-19 protocols.
