On Thursday April 3, the United Master Executive Council concluded the 2025 Spring Regular MEC Meeting in Orlando, FL.
During the two-day meeting, the MEC and attendees actively engaged in the democratic processes of our Union. MEC Officers provided reports on current issues, those affecting our workforce, and a financial outlook for United Airlines. Several Committees, including the Negotiating Committee, Human Rights and Equity, and Grievance Committee, reported on their work over the past year including the improvements they are pursuing to enhance the quality of life for all Flight Attendants. Elections were conducted for positions on the Central Schedule Committee, Hotel & Transportation Committee, and System Board of Adjustment.
Multiple elections were held at the meeting, including positions on the System Board of Adjustment, Hotel and Transportation, and Central Schedule Committee, including the new role of a Central Schedule Committee Vice-Chair. We would like to congratulate those Members who won their elections and recognize the amazing Flight Attendants who stepped up to run for each position available.
