Strike Authorization Vote - Now OPEN!

Share links

The day we have all been preparing for is here. The United Strike Authorization Vote officially opened at 12:00 ET. All Strike Authorization Voting will be conducted online. Each Member has the opportunity to cast their vote from now until August 28th 12:00 ET using the confidential activation code received in the mail.

Remember, you can only cast your vote ONCE. After you have voted you will not be able to change your vote.

If you have not received your strike vote ballot or you do not have access to the location where your ballot was sent, you may visit the link below to request a new activation code. https://afacwa-elections.org/request-new-activation-code

You may also call the Strike Authorization Voting helpline Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET, AT 1-844-232-2228 EXT 2 for support.

This is our time to unite and show our solidarity. By voting to authorize a strike, it doesn’t mean we will actually be going on strike; you are backing up our priorities at the negotiating table and indicating you are willing to strike, if necessary. An overwhelming vote in support of a Strike Authorization is the most significant deterrent from having to actually go on strike. By showing how powerful we are together, we show management that we are a force that cannot be shaken, and we will do WHATEVER IT TAKES.

If you would like to join your Local Council in spreading awareness of the Strike Authorization Vote campaign, please call your local AFA office.
