Taxi Reimbursement(s) for Flight Assignments

Our Contract provides for contractual cab reimbursement(s) under a number of different circumstances. 

Flight attendants may claim cab or limousine reimbursement for up to $10.00 between airport or co-terminals and their place of lodging during periods that public transportation may be limited. 

This provision may be utilized whenever the departure time of a flight assignment is between 10:00p.m. And 8:00a.m. or when the arrival time for the flight is between 8:00p.m. and 6:00a.m. The reimbursement amount is up to ($10.00). This contractual provision applies to both Lineholder and Reserve Flight Attendants. 

A Reserve Flight Attendants who reports for standby or who is released from standby between 10:00p.m. and 6:00a.am is also included in the provision. (Section 5.D.2.d)

In addition, Section 5.D.3 provides that when a Reserve Flight Attendant is required to respond to a (short) call of LESS than three (3:00) hours before report time, the Reserve Flight Attendant shall be reimbursed for actual expenses for cab transportation when the Reserve Flight Attendant determines such transportation is necessary to respond to a (short) call out of less than three (3) hours before report time. In such a circumstance where a Flight Attendant was unable to utilize her/his own personal transportation in order to make the less than three (3:00) hour (short) call out, reimbursement on an actual basis for the return trip will be authorized.

Copies of your trip pairings and receipts must be submitted in order to qualify for reimbursement which is submitted via the company’s Concur system.  To submit for reimbursement: Visit FlyingTogether > Employee Services > HR Tools and Resources > Concur. Or Visit concur.ual.com.
